  • The goal of Day Break is to attain optimum results and positive outcomes in a professional, relaxing atmosphere. At Day Break, clients will never feel rushed, and each treatment session will be customized to suit the individual’s needs.  At Day Break, our focus is on providing the best possible massage experience for the client, not on the quantity of massages performed.

To work at Day Break, all massage therapists are required to have at least an associate’s degree, and/or a minimum of two years of licensed massage therapy experience. We desire to attract and keep only the most qualified therapists so that we may properly care for our clients.

The benefits of  massage therapy are numerous and significant.  Therapeutic massage therapy incorporates touch therapy from Western and non-Western traditions. Practitioners incorporate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to address soft tissue dysfunctions and stress related conditions. Therapeutic massage can provide dramatic results for many conditions including:

    • Arthritis
    • Asthma
    • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
    • Circulatory Conditions
    • Depression
    • Gastrointestinal Disorders
    • Migraine Headaches
    • Insomnia
    • Myofascial Pain
    • Sports Injuries
    • Stress and/or Tension
    • Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorder
    • Fibromyalgia
    • Back Pain
    • Work Related Muscle Pain
    • High Blood Pressure
    • Post Operative Pain (Helps Decrease Scar Tissue)
    • Cancer (Helps Alleviate Side Effects Of Cancer and Cancer Treatments)

Up to 90% of illnesses may be stress related.  Massage therapy can help reverse the damaging effects of stress and aging by lowering blood pressure and heart rate. Massage has been proven to do the following functions:

    • Promote general relaxation
    • Increase flexibility and joint movement
    • Relieve muscle tension
    • Stretch weak, tight, or atrophied muscles
    • Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays
    • Help athletes of any level prepare for or recover from strenuous workouts
    • Improve the condition of the body’s largest organ which is the skin

There’s no denying the power of our massage therapy. Regardless of the adjectives we assign to it (pampering, rejuvenating, therapeutic) or the reasons we seek it out (a luxurious treat, stress relief, pain management), massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen.
